According to the legend, once every hunded years Poseidon, king of the ocean, walks as a stranger among the people to see how they care for and share the gifts his ocean gives them. Come along and we will walk with Poseidon and the boy he chooses to send on a heroe's quest. There are pirates, a dragon, a wolf named Loke, and even a mermaid or two.
About the author
V. L. Eriksen (alias Grandma Val) is a former elementary school teacher and a retired professor of English Composition. She grew up in the desert town of Richland, Washington. In 1991 she received a master of fine arts degree in creative writing, poetry, from Eastern Washington University. Since that time she has taught English Composition 101 & 102 for community colleges. She was teaching at Fort Campbell, Kentucky when an accident changed everything. She was visiting her grandchildren in Florida when a matress fell on her and broke her hip! Although her class room teaching is over, she is now able to finally finish and publish her poems and stories. She is a starving but happy writer living in Sarasota, Florida with her parrot Sebastian.
