This book reflects more on the journey of vampiress Regina Brighton and her nostalgia of her Navy days as a Sailor onboard LPD-22. Although the vampiric dynamics are still very present throughout the book, the sequel also combines with noteworthy mentions of an eloquent patriotism, a love and nostalgia of her service as a US Navy engineer, and a loving altruism in homage to her shipmates. Anyone who has ever served in the Navy will be touched by the pride that Alukard penned down.
