Dr. David Ackerman is a Personal Trainer and Chiropractor who coined the Active D.R.E.A.M. approach. Working with both clients and patients in the gym and Chiropractic office has allowed him to identify the most common health challenges people face. Hearing the same problems over and over again inspired him to come up with a solution that could be applied regardless of the situation or long term health goals! Realizing that the personal training clients who received regular Chiropractic care made the most progress and avoided the greatest injuries, Dr. Ackerman deemed Chiropractic Care an essential part of the Active D.R.E.A.M. approach! This is also where the expression "work in before you workout" came into existence. The people who put the most emphasis on aligning and strengthening their body's frame before training more intensely always yielded the best result in the end! Fast forward to present day and Dr. Ackerman has developed a system in his Chiropractic office to ensure that ALL patients receive the BEST results from living the Active D.R.E.A.M.
