Ten Years Gone

This is a collection of poetry & short stories that I have written from 2011 to 2021. The poems mean a lot to me. They symbolize the 10 year journey from breaking up with my now ex-fiancé, to falling in & out of love with various amazing women. The short stories are also meaningful to me, & I feel they express who I am & what I feel.

Born from illegal immigrants, now naturalized citizens, from Colombia, Michael grew up in Yonkers, NY. Standard public education. Flunked out of Mercy College. Spent 15 years in dead end jobs. Introverted, Michael was always better expressing himself through written words. Michael has been to various writers workshop & never gave up on his dream of writing.
