J. L. Jodoin works full time as a public servant. She is a mother of one adult son. She lives in the capital of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario. She loves to read and since her son has left for university, she can consume an entire book in one day. Recently she decided that she was going to write her own novel and she did just that. Her first novel, Tangled Karma, is book one of the Tangled Trilogy. She now has published her second book in the Tangled Trilogy, Tangled Perception, and is working on the third segment of the series. As most novels she has read are based in the United States or Europe, she wanted to write one about places she knows and loves in her own country, Canada. J.L. has used her writing to be her creative outlet expressing herself through her colourful characters and imaginative plot. She loves the suspense genre and has heated it up with the splash of romance and sex.
