Jackie Fancher was born in Evanston, Illinois. Aside from six years spent in Germany and Michigan, she has never lived more than a ninety-minute commute from Chicago. The invigorating pace, the lakefront and skyline, and the endless list of things to do keep her close by. Though she now lives and works south of the city, in Wilmington, Illinois, Chicago is a frequent destination for renewal and entertainment. While active in her church, local ACS Relay for Life, and diakonia™ training, Jackie spends her spare time reading and writing. Jackie has two sisters and three brothers who support and inspire her. Her son, Andrew, a constant source of pride, is the reminder that single mothers can work and raise thriving, successful children.
