Overview
Frank Cusco, a self-employed traveling salesman, spends a great deal of time on the road. Whilst meeting a vast array of customers and characters, some virtuous and others dedicated to subterfuge he navigates this terrain with a resolve to maintain both his professional and personal integrity. Seeking sales both new and continued, he works alone, without a safety net. His nemesis, Colin Lien is the antithesis of an honest broker, intent on making money as fast and as ruefully indiscreet as he does with his lustful exploits with women. The two are fighting for the same accounts, and are eventually slated for a confrontation. Interwoven are characters whose interaction and choices combine to both influence and motivate their desires. A buzzard gliding over the remains of the dead on back roads and interstates, and a hawk with the vision and will of a sniper. Felicia O'Kane is a struggling and young, yet beautiful and highly intelligent woman, whose hope for a good man will take sharp turns and still sharper and sudden stops before she meets the right one. Taylor McCulloch is a successful business owner and entrepreneur, with a glaring hue of low self-esteem and a penchant for strippers, until he redresses his shame into revenge. Cesar and Rafael are two friends who, after illegally emigrating to the US, find themselves in the northern reaches of the mid-west working in an automotive parts production facility, which as they learn is far from the American dream, until they meet Frank.
