Stepping Into The Fire

The stories in this book came from years of working as a photographer in New York and a journalist in Southeast Ohio. He met many different people over the course of his life and borrowed from them the stories that appear in this book.

After working as a photographer in New York and moving home to Ohio where he purchased a newspaper and attended meetings and events across a two county area Mr. Keller has had the opportunity to travel the world and then to settle into the busy life of a landowner (caretaker) along with his wife Nina. Now retired his experiences and interpretation of them offer a look into the life of a man who considers himself greatly blessed.

Steven P. Keller is retired after climbing the corporate ladder in New York and then coming home where he owned a newspaper and worked in journalism for more than 35 years. He and his wife own 80 acres of forestland near Ray, Ohio.
