Description
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Emily Maguire tells for the very first time the real story behind her songs… her journeys into psychosis and depression and the hope and poetic beauty that emerge from the other side. Based on the verses of her song 'Start Over Again' (from her third album 'Believer'), this selection of Emily's poetry, prose, song lyrics and personal diary entries offers a rare and unique insight into the creativity of a manic depressive mind. www.emilymaguire.com

Emily Maguire is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and classically-trained multi-instrumentalist with 3 albums to her name. She has toured with major acts including American legend Don McLean, Eric Bibb, Roddy Frame and The Blue Nile. Emily's remarkable book 'Start Over Again' was launched on BBC Radio 2 on World Mental Health Day in 2010 provoking a huge response from listeners.
