Overview
Pets are an important part of a family and to a child, the loss of a pet or temporary time away at a vet can be frightening. Sometimes Even Pets Get Sick is a story that helps young minds process the fear they may experience when their pets are ill. Through a colorful story of rhyme and reason, the reader will gain an understanding for why a pet may need to go to a vet as part of the path to getting well.
Description

Do you have a pet?  Has your pet ever been sick?  Veterinarians (Vet for short) treat many different types of animals. Maybe your pet is not a common cat or dog, but no matter what it is or how unique, if your pet gets sick, a visit to the Vet may be necessary.

This is a story of what can happen when a pet becomes ill and has to go to a vet to get better.  It is read in rhyme to help small children understand and enjoy the story, but is intended for all ages.
