Jason Reed fresh out of college spends the summer at Aaron Spellman's dad vineyard in the Napa Valley. He gets the bug to buy an old tobacco farm in Harlow NC. He is stonewalled trying to purchase the farm by Adam Lee and Greyson Jefferson the owners stepson. With help from Jason's best friend Clay along with Aaron the trio tries to discover why but become involved with money laundering, drugs and murder.

Jason Reed spends each summer break from college at Aaron Spellman's dad winery in Napa Valley Calif. He has a desire to start a vineyard in his home state of North Carolina on an unused tobacco farm in Harlow NC. Greyson, the stepson of the owner, Owen Jefferson, has plans for the land with his friend Adam Lee. Greyson and Adam prevent Jason to meet with Owen and tell Jason they can offer him a different piece of farm land. Having seen the farm house and the land that is ideal for a vineyard Jason still wants the tobacco farm. Unknown to Jason his mother, Fran is in an affair with Mark Newman, one of her employees and a friend to Greyson. Leaving a motel they are both killed by a sniper. Jason wanting to know more about Mark and his affair with Fran, discovers Mark was in prison with Greyson. Jason, Clay and Aaron dig deeper using Clay's super computer uncover the reasons Greyson and Adam want the farm and who killed Mark and Fran. Young Adult to Mature
About the author

Lawrence Lilienthal is a native of Meriden, Ct. and has traveled the world as an United States Marine retiring in 1994. His first novel, Red Rose Raiders hit the market in 2015 and his second in 2017 titled, Leonard Bannister. He has also penned over twenty-five short stories. Lilienthal is a member of the Carteret Writers Group in Morehead City, NC. Lilienthal now resides in Eastern North Carolina.
