Overview
Sin of Batista is a high octane adventure that spans a decade and takes you from Iran to south Georgia to Atlanta, NY, DC, to the high Andes of Bolivia and never lets you go. Tom McLaughlin is an unforgettable Georgia Bureau of Investigations agent who follows a random police murder that leads him and a band of hard soldiers to the lair of Batista Morales, a sadistic drug lord with a cemetery full of skeletons in the high Andes Mountains.
Description
Sin of Batista opens with the murder of a south Georgia police officer whose death is investigated by Tom McLaughlin, a Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) agent. Ten years later the murder weapon shows up in a shooting in DC. By now McLaughlin is a special agent in charge and through a series of encounters that include the CIA, FBI and GBI, he finds himself on the trail of the suspected murderer who is a lieutenant for Batista Morales, a murderous drug lord who operates from a fortress high in the Bolivian Andes. With a confederation of several agencies a plan is devised to take down Batista, as he has become a threat to US high officials. A female agent is sent undercover and after her discovery of her true identity by Batista, the race is on to save her and to destroy Batista and his bloodthirsty organization. The book spans ten years and takes the reader through the high tension planning and execution of a campaign to destroy the most ruthless drug criminal in the western hemisphere. From NY to DC to Atlanta to the US Navy attack ship of South America and the harrowing chopper ride through the coal black Andes... Sin of Batista never lets go.
