Overview
Ohio Congressman Bob Ney plead guilty to federal charges of corruption and falsification of federal documents in connection with Jack Abramoff, a Washington super lobbyist-turned criminal. As a six-term member of congress, Bob found himself caught up in a culture of greed, backstabbing, and corruption that eventually destroyed his career. In his new book, Bob recounts the events leading up to his resignation, his own guilt, and how a powerful member of congress and the Bush Administration officials played leading roles in both the Abramoff scandal and Bob's own downfall.

About the author
Bob Ney was born in Wheeling, West Virginia and raised in the Ohio Valley. Shortly after graduating from The Ohio State University with a B.S. Education Degree, he taught English in Iran where he developed a lifelong interest and love for International travel and cultures in addition to his own. His 25 years in political office began at the age of 26 when he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives, then to the Ohio State Senate, and his final 11 years in office as a U.S. Representative from Ohio’s 18th District. Ironically, Bob’s life was forever changed for the better through a prison sentence that included a 12 Step program. Sober and healthy, he was a talk show host for WVLY, Wheeling West Virginia, and is a political analyst for Talk Radio News Service. Today Bob spends his time writing, is involved in humanitarian endeavors, and is committed to people in recovery through 12 Step programs. Bob is devoted to his granddaughter, Aaliyah, as well as to his children, Bobby and Kayla, and their spouses, Julie and Adam. He divides his time between two of his great loves—Ohio and India.
