Jim is an actor, director, artist, and educator who has played lead and character roles, in regional theaters and in television and film. He is also a practiced carpenter, craftsman, and mason, an award-winning gardener and skilled bow hunter. Jim most recently played the role of the accountant and lawyer in the new Netflix show Brown Nation and appeared as Michael in the film The Mutineer, released in October 2017. Jim has been engaged in his local community bringing theater to the schools as well as working with other area residents on environmental and artistic causes. Jim initiated an annual Music and Arts Festival that thrived for ten seasons, served on the township Planning Board for five years, and was recipient of the 2005 Monmouth County Volunteer of the Year award. Jim has provided dynamic and engaging talks about the Solstices, about the Viking explorations of Lans Aux Meadows, and about the history at Bell Labs, Holmdel to local schools and community groups.
