Sea to Sky (Vancouver Sketch)

Pianist Waka Shinko has thrilled audiences and friends with her passionate and lovely solo piano songs. In her third album, Waka presents the beautiful scenes from Vancouver Canada, her second hometown.

"Sea to Sky" is the name of area in West Vancouver,Canada. This album presents the beautiful Vancouver scenes. Vancouverites wake up with Chickadees little birds chirping,look over Burrard Inlet, walk beside Capilano River, drive along Howe Sound, visit Granville Island, sunbath in Kits Beach, drink at Coal Harbour.They are just few of Waka's favourite spots in the most ideal city where she enjoys living in.

Waka is a genuine piano lover. Born in Hyogo Japan, she started her piano playing at four years old with her sister. As a Yamaha professional pianist and keyboard player, she had given many concerts nationally. And she was composing and presenting her music in the morning TV show at Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, a personality in the Saturday Night TV Show at Kansai Television and a Radio DJ at Mainichi Broadcasting Station and more, appeared in many newspapers and magazines in Japan. After she moved to Canada, she has been teaching piano privately and making music in beautiful Vancouver BC.
