I wrote this book to encourage and assure you that you are not alone. You can overcome anything by having faith and trusting in the word of God. Using my journey, which includes its own difficult struggles and shortcomings, I explain how my faith in Jesus Christ helped to deliver me from addiction and mental illness. I am confident that the scriptures that I share with you, along with your faith in your higher power, will help you to prevail and live victorious as they have for me.

In a world where we have a pandemic going on and everything is anything but normal, faith is all some of us have during these trying times. When writing this book, I realized just how important it is to have faith in God's amazing grace and mercy, that sustains us. It was by having faith and the love for Jesus Christ, and his mighty word that saved me from self-destruction. I wrote this book to encourage and assure you that you are not alone. You can overcome anything by having faith and trusting in the word of God. Using my journey, which includes its own difficult struggles and shortcomings, I explain how my faith in Jesus Christ helped me and delivered me. I am confident that the scriptures that I share, will help you prevail as they have for me.
About the author

Ebenezer Tyner III, also known to many as E.B. Tyner, is a proud United States Army veteran who served selflessly for over 21 years before retiring in 2003. E.B. is a husband, father, grandfather, leader in his church, and business owner. E.B. has been married to his beautiful wife Latonia Tyner for 16 years and counting. Together they have 5 children, ranging from ages 20 years to 37 years. He also has a nine-year-old granddaughter, and a five-year-old granddaughter, with one more grandchild on the way. His lovely wife Latonia is his biggest supporter and encourager. Family is everything to E.B., and he thanks God for them each day. E.B. loves to encourage people because he believes we all have valley experiences, but that we do not have to stay there. His passion for encouraging others stems from his own life experiences and how the Lord delivered him from alcohol addiction and depression to be the man God called him to be. E.B. has a Facebook page with well over 1,000 members. The page is appropriately named Encouraging Words for Encouraged People for the purpose of encouraging and uplifting others who may be going through a tough time in their life or providing an encouraging word to make one's day a little bit better through words of encouragement. E.B. holds an associate degree in the field of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University, a associates degree in Electronics Technology from IVY Tech State College, U.S. Army certification in Communications & Signal Transmission from the U.S. Army Signal School, Ft. Gordon, Georgia. Additionally, he holds numerous awards and Medals from his service in the U.S. military.
