Description
I am a triple boarded physician. I attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL., trained in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital located in Park Ridge, Il, Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Critical Care Medicine at Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois. And I studied advanced training in Cardiac Transesophageal Echo at David Greffen School of Medicine UCLA. I work for myself between Chicago and Los Angeles providing critical care, anesthesiology, and internal medicine care. I love medicine but even more I love teaching people to take care of themselves. My mission is to save lives through education. I have spent my life studying the human body and how it functions. I have spent most of my career managing the care of acutely dying patients whether they be in the intensive care unit or the operating room. My goal at this point is simple. I want to prevent patients from being the victim of preventable medical situations. I believe if you understand your body , you will be able to better take care of your life and live life well. Thus, I am taking all the knowledge and experience I have and sharing it with the world. I am trying to demystify the human body and the disease that affect it. I want people to be so comfortable with their body and how it works that you are no longer intimidated to have conversations with a doctor or a nurse. If you can understand this “ jill ran down the hill” then you can understand your body. I dare you to be in charge of your life.
