About the author
Alexandra Clark, Born Alexandra Ronge in Germany and moved to the USA in 1995 with her military spouse and two sons. Alexandra excelled in college and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Social Pedagogy which excelled her ability to work with troubled youth which also allowed her to mainly focus on foster care and social services. At the latter part of their marriage, the abuse was too much for she and her boys to take. His early exit from the Army caused him bouts of anger, depression and rage, all of which had to be released. Her story is a focus of this book and you'll find that you will be drawn into the reality that she had to face like raising two boys on her own with no family to support or assist her in an unfamiliar country. Her dependency on government assistance was short-lived because she realized that even what she was able to get didn't keep food on the table and the bills from overwhelming their family. Alexandra became an advocate for incarcerated individuals after her son's incarceration and an even bigger advocate for gun violence after her youngest son was gunned down by mistaken identity while sitting at a red light waiting for it to turn green, as simple as that. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong person. Single mom, fighter, believer all in one, who grieved the passing of two grandchildren before the age of 2, the mother of a victim of a violent crime who turned her into a advocating beast and survivor. I present to you, Alexandra Clark.
