The author lives outside Baltimore, Maryland with her husband ,Russell, and her Goldendoodle, Winston. When she is not writing, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren. The Chief Inspector Cam Fergus Mysteries grew out of the author's twenty-five-year love affair with the Herefordshire market town of Ross-on-Wye. Since her first visit, she has returned faithfully year-after-year and finds inspiration for her mysteries in the beauty spots of the area.
