Very Inspiring Book I bought this book for my 2-year-old daughter. She recites the lines with me word for word and gets so excited to see females like her in the book. She knows the title and repeating lines by heart. I haven't been able to get her to pick another story a bedtime. I appreciate that my daughter is able to read a story that she can relate to. This will be one of her favorites forever. Read more

Rise Up Black Girl, Rise Up! This book is the best!!! Latasha did an amazing job at writing a book to motivate little girls to be whatever they want to be in life no matter how they grew up. As a teacher, I am excited to be able to have this book in my classroom for my students to read. I want my kiddos to be able to dream big and become whatever they want and this book gives them that. Excellent Book! Latasha Scranton did an excellent job with this book! I wish there were more books like this when I was a little girl because they help give Black girls self-confidence. With all that’s going on in our country, this book is a breath of fresh air. I purchased it for my niece and she was amazed at all the awesome things she could do! She mentioned while we were reading it, “Their hair is curly like mine!”❤️ I’m honored to know the author! Read more
