Reflections with Emotion

Reflections with Emotion is a book of Poetry and Short Stories.

The emotion I meant to write into each poem or short story was meant to touch your heart in a personal way. They may cause you to reflect on the past as well as the present, and revive some of the memories that affect you personally. Reviving precious memories every so often is important. Remember, A PERSON NEVER DIES AS LONG AS THERE IS SOMEONE TO REMEMBER THEM.

I am a retired military veteran, having served 5 years in the Army and 17 years in the Navy. I have a treasure trove of experiences to reference, starting with my turbulent childhood to my military career and beyond. When I lived in Oroville, California, I prospected for gold in the south-fork of the Feather River, explored old abandoned gold mines, and hiked through the Desert State Park in southern California. These poems and stories are more than imagination-filled works of Fiction. Many are based on real-life experiences.
