QuickDraw (Khmer)

A collection of short comic art vignettes by 'in, on, around, about' Cambodia, in Khmer language. You’ll see observations on daily life as well as musings on larger issues of life in the Kingdom, garnered over a period of 10 years. This Khmer language edition is twinned with QuickDraw #6's English edition.

QuickDraw began life as a photocopied mini-comic in the USA, and has since been published in Australia, Indonesia, and most recently, Cambodia. Since most e-book readers do not currently support Khmer, content is shared as image files. Creator John Weeks presents 'comics at the speed of life' in this collection of short do-it-yourself comics ranging from the mundane to the sublime. QuickDraw cartoons have been recommended in AsiaLife Guide and regularly featured on the web. This publication is recommended for touchscreen e-book reading devices, to enable effective viewing of art and text.

John Weeks is a comic artist and researcher based in Southeast Asia. His comic 'QuickDraw' has been appearing in print and on the web since 1995.
