Description

The Camino de Santiago is one of the most famous pilgrimage routes in the world. Since the 900s A.D., millions of religious pilgrims have traversed the 570-mile trail to reach the burial site of St. James in Santiago de Compostela. Having made the pilgrimage himself, Dr. Richard Blake was inspired to write poetry based on his experiences, conveying the tremendous spirituality that brings a traveler closer to God. Through 24 poems written by Blake and a contribution by fellow pilgrim Meg Rowley, the reader will be led through excitement, reflection, and the joy of possibility. Even if you never set foot on the Camino, you'll feel the thrills of one who has.
