Overview
Poetry and Prose written and shared to help others struggling remember they are not alone, and they can overcome their pain.
Description
This is a collection of work I had written during the lowest time in my life, my mid twenties. Though I was successful in business, I loved the way I looked, and I had an amazing support system, I still managed to find hope in the wrong situations and ended up hurting myself more. I filled my own head with romantic ideas and fantasies, and was very disappointed when reality hadn't played out the same way. This book includes suicide ideation, foul language, mentions of substance abuse, and a view into how the mind thinks under a cloud of anxiety and depression.
About the author

Brianna grew up in a small mountain town in Northern California. She draws her inspiration from struggles she has gone through and overcame, as well as her love life, her family, and her personal motivation. Brianna has been writing poetry and prose collections since 2010 but has recently decided to share her writing with others, in hopes to inspire someone to keep fighting for their happiness, just as similar poets inspired her when she needed it most. Brianna enjoys reading poetry, science-based writings, and Dystopian fiction. Her favorite authors include Ayn Rand, R.H. Sin, and R.M. Drake. When she is not writing, she is studying science, paddleboarding, making crafts, hiking, traveling, or spending time with her Husband, her family, and her dog.
