About the author

Jenni Smith is the mother of four children, an elementary school librarian, and a family life pastor. She lives in Idaho with her family and their three dogs. Her happy place is sitting next to a campfire with a puppy at her feet, a good book in her hands, and her husband and kids at her side

About the Illustrator

Joy has been drawing ever since she could hold a pencil. She graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle majoring in "Animation, Arts and Design." For 20+ years, she worked full-time as an artist and graphic designer. Thanks to covid, she was able to become a stay at home mom and homeschool teacher to her two girls. She is able to assist her husband with their own business (paintball) as well as pursue her own love of illustration. “I am so very blessed, and praise the Lord for all that he’s given me – to be able to follow my passion and be so near to my kids is a dream come true.”
