Shannon Prevo was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University with bachelor's and master's degrees in Electrical Engineering. In 1998, the Lord moved her to Raleigh, North Carolina where she held several corporate positions. She served faithfully for over 19 years at the Upper Room COGIC where Bishop Patrick L. Wooden, Sr. is the pastor. It was here that the Lord called her into the ministry. Shannon is the founder of Captured by His Word Ministries and is a teacher, preacher, and prayer warrior. She has been in ministry for over 18 years and her love for God and God's people is evident in her passionate teaching of God's truth. An ardent defender of the faith, Shannon lives by the principle of "God First!"
