Overview
Just when it's time for bed, there is a wiggle of a first loose tooth. Forget going to sleep - there are questions that need answers!
Description
Losing a tooth is a universal experience and can often make a child anxious when it happens. In this book just when it's time for bed, there is a wiggle of a first loose tooth. The character in the book cannot relax enough to sleep because she has too many unanswered questions about her tooth. Typical of children her age, this tooth becomes a single point of focus and she goes to get her mom even though it is past her bedtime. Eventually she has asked enough and worried enough that the idea eventually becomes more manageable.
About the author
Mary Kauffman was born into a military family in Sacramento, California in 1973. As an Air Force Brat life took her all over the world to 13 countries, 14 schools and 22 states before even graduating high school. After earning a BA in Psychology and an MS in Leadership along with working in Communications and Retail Management, Mary found herself working in state government. Immersed constantly in new cultures and environments both in her youth and as an adult, Mary has been able to identify some things that are universal in human experience and capture the feeling from a child's perspective. Mary lives with her family in WI and spends time working, raising a family, writing, exercising and finding humor in even the smallest moments. She is still pursuing higher education and studying the behaviors of the people and the details of the scenes that surround her every day.
