It begins in New York and moves back and forth to mysterious capitals of culture and vast deserts and mountains across the globe. Their pasts collide with the future, bringing mystery and romance to a mission with impossible odds.

Yet what happens to them is also the tale of how secrecy at the highest levels of government is a double-edged sword, illustrating how power and political ideology alter the landscape of the modern world. Can one man change the course of history? One man’s mission, which is so secretive, that only the President, Vice President and Secretary of Defense know of the plan. Even his children presume his death in the Twin Towers on 9/11. As the days count down to execution of the mission, no one can stop this man or can they?

John Fitzgerald is from New York City and formerly president of his own production company at the Tribeca Film Center in lower Manhattan, ten blocks from the former World Trade Center. He has written and worked with presidents of companies and countries, celebrities in film, music and sports and with literally thousands of citizen heroes from around the country. He has written scripts and speeches for most of his adult life and now devotes his time to his own material. "Of all the people I have worked with during my career, the most satisfying has been with selfless Americans who make a difference in their community." His writing is inspired by their actions.
