Robyn Ringgold is a native of Baltimore and currently resides there with her husband and two daughters. Robyn is a vegetarian and enjoys traveling abroad, experiencing diverse cultures, and being of service to others. My Mom Hugs Trees was inspired by a conversation Robyn overheard her daughter having with a friend. Her daughter seemed embarrassed, yet admiring as she described Robyn’s strange habits.
