About the author
Marion Sieb Mahoney is an artist from Joliet IL, and this is her first published children's book. Marion has an art degree from St. Francis University, and took advanced art classes from the Art Institute in Chicago. In 2006, while attending school at the Art Institute, she entered The Hans Christian Andersen Award Jury of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) in Bologna, Italy. Marion lives in Plainfield IL, surrounded by family (near and far); 3 kids, 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She is 95 years young.
