My Corona Musings

This book was born out of the pandemic. Beverly started drawing these little cartoons to share how she was feeling. (She didn't really know how to draw – she just kept trying.) Amazingly, her trying to draw brought her a sense of calm. These little cartoons helped her survive the lockdown.

This is a small book of drawings about our shared Covid experience. The pandemic has delivered a kind of collective societal shock. This volume of sixteen drawings represents Beverly's personal feelings about this universal, life-changing event. She hopes that her illustrations in some way entertain others who saw themselves in much the same way.

Beverly Visitacion was born in New York City. She lives in Miami with her husband and has worked as a location scout and manager in the film industry for over thirty years.
