About the author
Frank J. Smith is a poet, screenwriter, cinematographer and author of a new collection of poetry called Memento Mei. His previous works include Sitting In Silence, Dying Out Loud, published under the penname F.J. Bonet'. Originally from Louisiana, Frank arrived in Texas by way of the U.S. Army where he served as a Staff Sergeant and Chief Warrant Officer. His duty stations include Fort Sill, OK, Fort Hood, TX, Fort Jackson, SC, Fort Rucker, AL, Camp Stanley, South Korea and a deployment to Iraq; for which he was awarded the Bronze Medal for his service during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After completing his tour, Frank worked in a variety of roles in the private sector ranging from warehouse shift manager to e-Commerce project manager with over 15 years of business experience. He holds a Master's of Business Administration, a Master's of Fine Arts is a Project Management Professional, as well as a Certified Scrum Master. Of all of his titles the one Frank is most proud of is dad. He is the father of three beautiful daughters and is a grandfather of one.
