About the author
Kristi Nelson was born and raised in Houston, TX. She received her BA in Studio Arts with a minor in Art History from The University of Houston. Kristi is a certified k-12 art teacher who spent 5 years teaching high school art. She and her husband Michael were married in 2011 and they now have 3 beautiful children. Luke, Lily and Summer. She enjoys creating art with her children and blogging about mom life in her spare time. Kristi loves the use of color & mixes her mediums in every piece of art she creates depending on the feelings that she is presented with during the artistic process.
