Marshall has been a professional teacher of multiple subjects all of his adult life. As a teacher of many schools and youth organizations, he was able to parlay a volunteer dealing job into a professional dealing job and eventually became a professional player. Holding true to his teaching roots, Marshall went from simply taking fellow poker players under his wing to teaching the game professionally. As his students grew in both numbers and experience, Marshall was proud to witness his students, at times, experience more success at the poker table than him! But as he continued to teach poker, he found the poker community to be lacking in teaching materials that fulfilled the needs of both teacher and student.
