Overview
A collection of some 40 tunes for mandolin, bouzouki and violin. Some original compositions plus many of Celtic origin and a few Middle Eastern inspired tunes. You will find standard notation and tablature as well as some alternative chord changes included. Also, charts for scales, chords, fingerboard and a simple page of warm up exercises.
Description
Here is a collection of tunes I have written over the past several years. Some of the tunes were written on break during the regular Thursday night Celtic gig but most were written after some event during the course of a regular day. Hence the title: “Song of the Day”. The others are mostly of Celtic origin with a few Middle Eastern inspired tunes. You will find standard notation and tablature as well as some alternative chord changes included. The last part of the book includes some useful chord and scale charts, a simple warm-up and a fingerboard chart. I hope you enjoy the tunes and are able to use them in your own arrangements and recordings. XML files are also available at my website: www.brentrobitaille.com Thanks, Brent Robitaille.
