Overview
"Lines of Licorice" is a collection of moments. Each poem's origin was not on a word document, but a scrap of paper, a napkin, sometimes an iPhone note. Charles Kaye never meant to write poetry. But once he started to meditate, word arrangements poured forth. Later, he learned that it's a tap he can turn on and off. Sometimes the tap drips into the wee hours. Poetry is his constant companion, passion, and succor.
