Description
Li’l Story, the true story of the rise and fall of the Great Canadian Novel (Black Ice Press) is the frustrated voice of one small misunderstood story, known as Li’l Story who, fed up with the unfulfilled promise of becoming a novel, decides to set out on his own and become the Great Canadian Novel. “Perfect?” I (Li'l Story) retorted. “You think that someday you’re going to be perfect? You think the Great Canadian Novel is perfection? Well, it’s not. The Great Canadian Novel is just a scheme. It’s just his way of keeping us all locked up in here. I can’t believe you haven’t figured that out yet. But if you want to talk about perfection, I mean, if you really want to talk about perfection, well, just take a look at me, because for the longest time I have had a headache and I am presently perfect. Yes, that’s right, I have had a headache and I am presently perfect and prime for publication.” Silence.
