Lavender Fairies

LAVENDER FAIRIES is a fantasy children's book that teaches kids about gardening on lavender farms, lavender festivals, friendship, and being yourself.

Its time for the annual lavender festival! I have a secret I'm going to tell you. I have lavender fairies on my family farm. Best friends, Periwinkle, Plum, Amethyst, and Iris are lavender fairies. They are the keepers of the lavender that make the magic happen. One summer I became friends with them, and I want to tell you all about it. It's a truly enchanting story. Lavender Fairies may appeal to those who enjoy children's books like Fancy Nancy, Flower Fairies, and Tinker Bell.

Malinda Balo was born and raised in the PNW. She now lives in Coeur d' Alene Idaho with her two children. Malinda has always loved fantasy, fairies, and gardens. She takes her children to the lavender farms every summer and always noticed that there wasn't much to buy for kids besides an ice cream cone. So she decided to do something about it and write and illustrate her very own children's fantasy book. She hopes you enjoy it and never stop believing in fairies.
