About the author
C. Butenhoff was raised in Montana and Minnesota, where he grew up loving art, hunting, fishing, sports, cowboying, and the friendships that made all these activities fantastic life-molding experiences. After more than 30 years in public education as an art and special education instructor, his retirement has allowed him more time to enjoy his home in the country, creating drawings, paintings, sculptures, pottery, and hopefully more books. Butenhoff currently resides in rural Minnesota on a small farm and is encouraged by his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and animals—wild and domestic.
