Overview
Affluent and playful, Khusro, the thirteenth century poet and musician who would become known throughout India and Middle East - and now the world - is a Persian mystic who loved melody, words and romance. His interpretation of love's musings is frivolous, fanciful and lovely proving that love and poetry walk hand in hand - always have and always will.
Description
With a classical vision of the Persian mystic and poetic experience, the translator, Khalid Hameed Shaida, provides readers with yet another translation of a lesser-known Persian favorite. Heartfelt, playful and idealistic, he whips the current of romance to timeless bliss and swirls the tides in our favor. He recreates a world we all wish to embrace, one of accord, decency and love.
