About the author
Gatlin is a Washington state based author and illustrator who finds inspiration in her pup's daily antics and the everyday beauty of the PNW. JoJo is a 3-year-old Springer Spaniel Chocolate Lab mix who loves very big sticks. You can often find the pair out sailing in the Puget Sound, hiking in the Mt. Baker Wilderness, or carrying big sticks through Bellingham's dog parks.
