About the author
José M. Goitia is a former Jai Alai player who played professionally for 24 years. He was born in the Basque region of Spain. He played in numerous frontons in Spain, as well as in the United States. He married an American woman and they have two sons. He is an American citizen and resides in Tampa, Florida.
