Overview
In, "Gardens Where We Glory" Sallie McCormick-Adams as a "Poet, Wife, and Mother" digs into life's garden, and its variety. She discerns through her unique perceptions, understandings deeply poignant in this poetry collection. This book was especially close to her heart. She saw life as a celebration, and all God's handiwork a palette to celebrate poetically. In her life she experienced great tragedy, heartaches, and daily trials, yet, she rarely let them steal her joy, or diminish her faith. Her faith in Christ kept her strong, and gave her wings to go on. Her poetry carries this confidence, hope, and strength. This body of work in, "In Gardens Where We Glory" is a fusion of her poetry, her hand embroidery, along with pictures, and family artwork creating a beautifully blooming tapestry of her and her life.
