After working full time, and having household responsibilities, the mom finds herself wanting more time with her son. She has set the expectation of weekends very high, but continues to struggle with balancing her professional and family life. From the child’s perspective, all that he wants is to play with his mom. The characters really love spending time together, and eventually have their big weekend moment in the end. About the author
Amanda Foust is a thirty-nine-year-old Pre-K teacher and mother of two from Beaumont, Texas. She holds a degree in Elementary Education, with a specialization in English. The inspiration for this book came from her personal experience of working full time, and then having household responsibilities after the workday ends. Like most parents, the idea of wanting more time with family is a topic that is close to her heart.
