First-generation American, Ann grew up learning two very different ways of life. This unique upbringing has inspired her to drive and desire to learn. Ann grew up in the Coptic Christian church, opening the door to accepting Christ into her life, but it didn't stop there. As she grew up, her faith grew with her, eventually becoming non-denominational believing her relationship with God is one of a kind and can not be confounded by a singular way of thinking. She believes this for every one of us as well, which is the inspiration of her writings. Faith is not Ann's only learning passion. She has studied at a variety of schools, across a collection of topics broadening her knowledge, understanding, and honing her abilities to help those around her, and eventually around the world. Ducky, as her mother affectionately calls her, is humble and kind, but most importantly loves to laugh. She is constantly joking and having fun with everything she does and encourages others too. Her favorite pastime is getting great care, wearing her favorite ripped jeans and oversized sweatshirt with even better people. Ann is bold, gifted, and passionate - all traits she uses to write, but most importantly, she writes because someone, somewhere, needed to hear what she had to write - and that is the simplest way to express her nature.
