In addition he is a columnist on WashingtonPost.com and TheAtlantic.com and is in his 24th year as host of Work with Marty Nemko on KALW-FM, an NPR affiliate in San Francisco. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and subsequently taught in its graduate school.
