Overview
Describes a series of business opportunities that do not require anything but hard work and imagination.
Description
Chapter 1. INTRODUCTION It is growing increasingly harder to live well without a lot of money. A good car costs $20,000, while a really good car costs $50,000. A nice home costs $250,000, yet a really nice home costs $1,000,000. A college education costs $30,000, but a college education at a great school costs $300,000 and up. Like most people working and receiving a salary, the thought of living well, educating your children, and retiring in comfort seems impossible. Why not take a chance and try something different? A salaried job will always be there. As you must be aware, today's job market is challenging at best. With unemployment over 10%, and little hiring taking place, a number of people are looking for alternative ways to make a living that do not involve flipping hamburgers. This book was written to get you thinking about some alternative ways to earn a living, or indeed, to attain some real wealth. Most of the suggestions discussed in this book have been used by someone to make serious money. I myself have started seven companies, and now I am very comfortably semi-retired. It's time to turn off the TV, sit down with a pen and paper, and start to create a source of real wealth for your family. None of these ideas requires an advanced education or specialized training, just hard work, patience, and persistence.
