Dr Leclaire O'Neill coined the word Hypnobirthing , created the Hypnobirthing Method and wrote Hypnobirthing the Original Method . She is the mother of 3 grown children and two grandchildren She was born in NYC and grew up in the Bronx , post WWII, in an Irish Catholic neighborhood. The building she writes about in Hitler Comes to the Bronx was filled with returning Vet fathers. Dr Leclaire O'Neill worked on the first PTSD ward in the US for Vietnam Veterans(Brentwood VA, Los Angeles,Ca) She has created a Re entry Program, approved by the Army for the current returning Vets and their families.
