Description
Cheyenne's not a happy pig lately. She's a gutterpunk in the city and it sucks. But it's better than livin' in the burbs with her crack-head mom and Harley-humpin' Butch. Someone's gonna get killed in that house and it's not gonna be her. She's crashing in an abandoned tenement, Little House in the Ghetto, with Bones and his whiny pit bull Mikey. She's not suicidal but she thinks a lot about who'd come to her funeral--no one probably--if she got hit by a bus. Then she meets Fast Eddie Mack. He's a retired detective and owns the Golden Cue. Once he slaps a cue in her hand, she's got game. Someday she's gonna beat Jeanette Lee, the Black Widow. Cheyenne's a good kid who got a bad break in life. She stumbles and falls, stumbles and falls, but like she says, "I may be a loser, but I'm not a quitter." And when she's in the zone, look out! She's taking names, kicking butt, and shooting pool. It doesn't get any better than that for a young girl with a cue. But sometimes fate has other plans.
