About the author
Jennifer McIlwee Myers (the middle name is “Mac-uhl-wee”) found out that she had Sensory Processing Disorder at the time she was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in mid-2002, and has focused on studying and conveying information about both SPD and autism in the years since. Jennifer currently writes and lives in sunny Southern California with her husband Gary and, at any given time, a cat or two.
